Learning to Love You More

After exploring the “learning to love you more” site and its various assignments I’ve decided that I really like assignment #27, take a picture of the sun. I particularly liked the picture taken by Federica Bertorelli of Fidenza, Italy. The sky is incredibly blue and it looks like the trees are just starting to get their leaves. The tiny little bits of blue are just really cute to me. I’m a fan of cute things so a cute little tree under a perfect blue sky with such a bright and shinning sun is something I can really get behind. It’s very calming to look at. I’ve seen others of sunsets over a cityscape but those are kind of dramatic to look at. They’re very nice yes, but it’s nice to see something simple and pretty once in a while too. The city is fast paced and large, it’s brimming with life but you can hardly breathe. This little tree in the sun shows life too, fresh life just beginning. This tree will give air, nice clean air. Air is important. I would love to make this picture into a poster, maybe one of those “hang in there” posters.
Another one of the sun pictures I liked was taken by Frances from Newcastle, England.  Again the sky is very blue and the sun is beautiful. In this one though there are fluffy white clouds and who I guess is Frances either blowing bubbles or dancing through the bubbles. I can’t make out the features of this person (it might not even be Frances) but whoever this mysterious person is they look like they’re having fun. Who wouldn’t have fun on a day like that? Look at that sky! That’s the bluest blue to ever blue. Good for you, mysterious person who may or may not be Frances, going outside and taking advantage of such a nice day. I like this picture because it just looks happy. The person is having fun outside with bubbles, how much more happy can you get? It makes me want to go outside and run around. It kind of takes me back to when I was only a little kid without a care in the world, playing outside like nobody’s business. I can remember the days when the sky was like this and I would get my big brother to come play baseball or football or something in the yard. One of us would always end up getting hurt somehow, but before that it was nothing but fun. I wish I could have those times back. Being a kid was so great, no stress and the world still seemed like a good place. To me this photo shows the innocence and boundless joy that comes with being a child.
Now that I look at them together I realize that both these pictures are similar. They both give me a happy feeling inside. I guess I just like things that make me happy, so sue me. The links for the website and the two photo’s is below if you wanted to check them out.
